On November 26th, the Maiden of the Dark Kickstarter campaign hit a key benchmark. With 136 backers promising $10,195, the independent Game Boy title has officially hit its fundraising goal and is now set to deliver the game and assorted extras to supporters in December. The campaign has also officially sold out of its highest tier level, including the cartridge in box, soundtrack CD, poster, personal thank you letter from creator TigerChainsaw, and the backer’s name in the credits. Only 25 backers were allowed for this tier.

The remaining four tier levels are still available. These include the ROM file at tier 1, currently with 21 backers, the cartridge at tier 2, with 9 backers, the box with cartridge, manual, and inserts at tier 3 with 67 backers, and all of the above with a soundtrack CD with 10 backers. TigerChainsaw has also announced stretch goals- a full PC/Steam port at $12,000, the addition of color to the game at $15,000, and a Nintendo Switch port at $20,000.
