On October 29th and 30th,2021, Old School Gamer Magazine and iiRcade will be guests at the 2021 Pinball/Gaming Expo. Come out to see members of the writing staff and creator Ryan Burger as well as the new iiRcade machine that has been out this past year. Founded in 1985, Pinball Expo is the longest-running event dedicated to pinball.

For the first time this year the Pinball Expo will be staged at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. The festivities will include virtual tour of the Stern Pinball factory, a full schedule of speakers and seminars, pinball tournaments, a vendor hall to find anything and everything imaginable for the pinball curious, and a host of other activities that, once again, will bring the best of what pinball means to so many. AND another first at the pinball expo is the addition o retro gaming. Old School consoles, arcades, tournaments, special guests and the International Video Game Hall of Fame ceremony have been added to this historic expo.

Tournaments include an NES Excitebike tournament and Atari 2600 Yars’ Revenge tournament among others. Walter Day, founder of Twin Galaxies will be in attendance and will be handing out awards to the pinball special guests. Galloping Ghosts Arcade will have over 50 arcade machines to play as well as tournament to enter. Special guests include Brian Colin, creator of Rampage, Paul Niemeyer, artist of Mortal Kombat, Tyler Bushnell, CEO of Polycade and Tim Kitzrow, the voice of NBA Jam.

And for the first time displayed and any gaming event is the rare, only 2 in existence, prototype Sega Pluto. Come see it in person before and see what might have been for Sega.
