I grew up obsessed with the NES primarily because of my mom who was a major influence in my gaming life. Every weekend we would go to Blockbuster to rent movies and games so I was always blown away by seeing the large collection of video games that were in one location. It’s pretty commonplace now but it was something that was unheard of in someone’s own house at the time. Growing up poor I always wondered who would be able to accumulate all these types of games.
