By now, many people know that down on the 40 Deuce, Super Bomberman 2 was the game of choice. I’ve written about how the game took over our spare time like a vampire does young, good looking women. It was the only game we knew, the only game we needed to know… IT WAS THE BEST DAMN GAME IN THE WORLD!

It was the only game we knew, the only game we needed to know… IT WAS THE BEST DAMN GAME IN THE WORLD!But then, something unusual happened…I’d somehow managed to finagle a free copy of a game (and let’s face it… most of my entire game collection was obtained in the same manner… hey, I worked for a gaming mag… heh, heh, heh…) that was being played a lot by all of the gamers at Imagine and from the sounds being made while playing, everyone was having one hell of a good time! The game was TimeSplitters and it was developed by this insanely creative outfit known as Free Radical.
