Spread the love

I think that’s enough Amiga news for this weekend, as turning to the C64 for our retro goodness, and I’ve found out that at some point in the near future, Brains Limited will be releasing their action slasher of ‘Undead’ for both the C64 and PC. A game that’s described as a brutal and humorous 2D belt-scroller with hundreds of frames of hand-crafted animation. A game that’s full of all the punching, kicking, throwing and decapitation you could want in 100x120px glory. To coincide with this news, provided below is footage from both the C64 and PC version.

PC Version

And here’s the full details from the Steam page. “Originally developed for Commodore 64 in 1990-1992, Undead has risen from the grave to haunt both Commodore 64 and PC with fully hand crafted-bitmap images(PC) and hundreds of frames of animation. Control Jon, a hyper-violent enhanced half-human-half cyborg in his mission to find the captive scientists from city that is infested with zombie outbreak as well as satanic cult bikers and demons from hell. Simultaneously developed for the two platforms, Undead boasts multiple attack moves, melee weapons, supercharged jatimatic and grab/throw/hurl system which enables you to do “zombie bowling” against stronger enemies”.
