Dragonflight is set to go live in a few weeks. How can players access the new Dragon Isles region?

Dragonflight is on the horizon, and many fans are excited to explore a new campaign and region. With so many things in store for players, it is understandable that many are making early preparations. Gamers have started farming WoW gold and grinding levels to ensure they are ready for the threats in the Dragon Isles. Before heroes can explore the land of the Dragons, they must ensure they can access the region.

The Dragon Isles

The homeland of the dragons, once known as the Broodlands, is a region that has been far removed from the known world. For a long time, the place has been hidden with the Beacon of Tyrhold to prevent outsiders from ever finding it. However, with the recent awakening of the primal forces in the Isles, the Beacon has been re-lit as a call for aid from Dragons and heroes alike.

Due to the re-emergence of unknown lands that even scholars know little about, the Alliance and Horde have assembled a joint exploratory force known as the Dragonscale Expedition. Their main goal is to conduct scientific expeditions in the region, but adventurers will soon find themselves embroiled in the conflicts of the Dragons.

As the primary setting of the latest expansion, players must reach the isles to experience the new content. To this end, players must learn how to get to the dragon region. Fortunately, the process is simple and does not need any specific WoW mount.

How to Access the Dragon Isles?

Getting into Dragon Isles is relatively easy and requires no significant effort. Heroes must start the chain quest “The Dragon Isles Await,” which is unlocked as soon as level 58. This task will begin a series of missions wherein players embark on their journey to the newest region.

While doing this questline, you can use boats bound for the Dragon Isles in either Stormwind City or Orgimmar. Alliance players will accompany the Explorer’s League, while Horder heroes will assist the Reliquary. It should be noted that players can start leveling in dragon’s homeland starting at level 58. However, it is recommended that heroes start their grind at level 60.

Before players can even plan on adventures in the Dragon Isles, they should first make sure they have a copy of Dragonflight. Since the expansion is set to be released on November 28, gamers can only buy pre-purchase. Here are the prices for each package:

Points of Interest in Dragon Isles

Dragon Isles is designated as a level 60-70 region. There are five significant zones in Dragonflight, which players must discover chronologically. Following the main story quest will eventually unlock all these places for the heroes. The Forbidden Reach is only accessible to the Dracthyr-Evoker class since this is their designated starting zone. Here are all the significant areas in the expansion:

  • The Waking Shores
  • Ohn’Ahran Plains
  • Azure Span
  • Thaldraszus
  • Forbidden Reach

The Waking Shores will be the first zone players will encounter bursting with elemental power. This is the landing site of the Alliance-Horde exploration team after arriving at the invitation of Alexstrasza. Ohn’Ahran is a vast area that features an expansive view. The grasslands are home to the Maruuk centaur tribes with deep connections with the green Dragonflight.

Azure Span contains the snowy peaks of the isles. It holds the magical archives of the blue Dragonflight while also being the home to many tribes of gnolls and furbolgs. Thaldraszus will feature ancient structures such as spires and temples that hold the secrets of the old Dragon Aspects. It is the seat of power of the Aspects and is the most sacred place for the dragon kingdom.

Prepare for the Exploration of the Dragon Isles

Dragonflight is about to go live in a few weeks, so it is high time for players to start preparing. Grinding for money and level is in the best interests of every gamer. Heroes are recommended to save up WoW gold, so they have enough money to spend on the wares in the Dragon Isles.
