DALLAS – April 22nd, 2024 – Wizordum, the retro first-person spellcaster developed by Emberheart Games and published by Apogee Entertainment, wages war against wickedness with the upcoming release of Episode Two on PC via Steam and GOG this Summer. Tune into the OTK Expo, Tuesday, June 4, 2024 for a special Wizordum announcement during the showcase. In the meantime, get a sneak peek at Episode 2’s spell-slinging arsenal here.

After cleansing corruption from the town of Grimbrook, the hunt for the source of Chaos leads one of the last mages of Wizordum on a journey to all-new locales. Episode Two enhances the spell-slinging with a new weapon, added alternate attacks, and a refined magic system where defeating enemies replenishes spellcasting abilities.

Harness the godlike power of the new Storm Gauntlets, which can shatter enemies in an instant with powerful lighting bolts. Unleash new secondary attacks for existing weapons: incinerate multiple monsters at close range with the Fire Ring’s added flame-breathing ability, or fire off a manually-timed explosion with the Spellstriker’s Arcane Rock.

Blast, bash, and burn a path through both existing and brand-new biomes in the newly-added Campaign Mode featuring spider-filled magical forests, swamp ruins teeming with bog beasts, and mercenary-filled warships. Brave the ill-fated Mountain Fortress filled with deadly traps, where one wrong step can trigger a slew of bone-crushing boulders, moving walls, and flaming projectiles.

Search for coin-filled coffers throughout every puzzle-filled quest, and exchange valuable loot for spell upgrades, alternate attacks, and much more by visiting the newly-added sorcerer’s shop after each level.

Race against the clock in speedrun-friendly levels with multiple difficulty options, or build new experiences to share with fellow wizards across the globe with an in-game level editor available on both Steam and GOG. Wage enchanted warfare to a hi-fi orchestral composition called “Symphonic Suite from Wizordum”, available on Apogee’s YouTube channel as well as all music streaming platforms.

“The Wizordum community has provided so much helpful feedback so far, and we’re proud to have brought many community-requested features to reality,” said Primož Vovk, developer at Emberheart Games. “We have even more content planned for 1.0, and cannot wait to share more in the near future.”

Wizordum is available on Steam for $14.99. For more information on the enchanted world of Wizordum, check out their Twitter and DiscordFor more on Apogee Entertainment, please visit the Apogee website and follow @Apogee_Ent on Twitter.
