Every Wednesday from 4th to 8th grade there was no school period I enjoyed and looked forward to more than the hour we got to spend in my school’s computer lab. Not only was it a welcome change of pace from the often boring classroom lecture we had to sit through the other 97% of the school week, we also got to do something that my world revolved around at the time: playing video games. It helped that I was a good student and I took to Math and English as well, which will make more sense at the end of this article.
