The Sega Genesis was littered with classics, but so many of the games that dominated sales charts on the console have disappeared since. Here’s our list of five games we’d love to see come back in some way.

Altered Beast: Yes, there were subsequent new additions, but they never hit as hard. This game needs to return to its roots. The world needs another sexy retro beat-em-up.

Vectorman: Why isn’t there a new Vectorman out on a current console? That’s insane.

Chakan: Another game with great art design that got lost after the 16-bit era. A new one would be so much fun.

Polterguy: Another blast from the past that the kids of today could totally eat up.

The Immortal: A fun take on the classic dungeon crawler would be an awesome niche title.
