I’m thrilled (and relieved) to share that our new doc – Arcades & Love Songs: the Ballad of Walter Day – is now available through all major video-on-demand platforms –
As my first feature as a director, it has been incredibly rewarding to see audiences reactions (and reviews) be so positive.
Our goal was to entertain and update diehard “KofK” fans while connecting with a broader audience through a story of chasing dreams and mending hearts, and it feels like we did it after our theatrical run.
And, to complete the Purple Rain element of the project, we also helped release Walter’s debut album at the end of last week –
Please watch and let me know what you think – if you don’t cry, I’ll refund our portion of the transaction! – and after hearing Walter’s songs for over twenty years now, and hundreds of times during post on this film, I still smile and my head still bops when I hear them.
