Right from the word go, we were one of the first gaming websites to give you the heads up about TIGERSKUNK’s amazing Shoot ’em up of Inviyya; a game with amazing scrolling graphics, super action, great sound effects, and a real hark back to days of R-Type or Project-X. Well time has passed since its release and the announcement for Inviyya 2. As this week the same developer has now announced a new Amiga AGA update to the upcoming fighting game the developer is calling as Krogharr!
Obviously it is still very early days for this game so don’t expect a release any time soon, but the creator has said that not only is he developing the game with a completely different graphics style compared to Inviyya ie more earthy tones and inspired by several Neo Geo games and their palettes, but the gameplay will be an exploration type with different areas, a story line and some 2D souls game like fighting included. As the developer says “I guess you could call that a “light Metroidvania”.
