With Christmas being about two months away you’d expect to see a number of Christmas themed games appearing on Indie Retro News in the lead up to the 25th. Well that’s certainly happened this week, as the first game to be mentioned on our site is a Christmas game by IntoInside for the C64 called ‘Santa Claus ‘; a brand new Commodore 64 game in which you need to help Santa collect all the presents that are being thrown from your stolen Sleigh.
Here is what the readme says about the game: Santa Claus is shocked as someone has stolen his Sleigh. The Sleigh is full of presents, and these will be thrown out of the Sleigh. Santa has to collect all these presents that are being thrown out, and if you don’t your happiness will drop and it will be a game over. Thankfully Santa is rather Athletic, as not only can he jump to grab them out of mid air, but he can also run to stop them from exploding onto the ground.
