Our next Trading Card Spotlight features Aiden Friedman, who currently is displayed on card number 2820, from the Superstars of 2018 Collection.  Aiden is an up and coming gamer who is heavily involved in the gaming community and contributes his time to be a junior editor and writer of Little Player Magazine.  He also is a huge help to the Video Game Summit in Villa Park, IL, running raffles, helping setup and organize the convention.   Aiden holds a few records on the Twin Galaxies scoreboard for Wii Sports Tennis and Wii Sports Resort Ping Pong.   Aiden loves promoting gaming and doing everything he can to one day organize his very own Video Game Conference.

Are you still involved with gaming today, and what role do you play?

Yes, I am editor of Little Player Magazine, Co-Promotor of the Video Game Summit in Illinois and I am a collector of the Walter Day Trading cards. I also hold a few gaming records.

Did you ever think you would be on a Video Game Trading card? 

Yes, but not until I was a lot older. I was so surprised when I saw the card given to me by Walter.

When did you first meet Walter day and where was it at?

I met Walter at Midwest gaming Classic in 2014.

If you could describe Walter Day in one word, what would that word be and why?

Generous. Walter is a good person to all gamers.

What is your favorite portable gaming device and why?

Mario Sports Superstars for the Nintendo 3DS.     I love sports games, and this has my favorites.

If you could own one arcade game or pinball game, what would it be and why? 

Fix it Felix.  It was in a movie and I think it would be cool to own.

Which console company is your favorite and why?  Nintendo, Sony, Sega, or Microsoft?

Nintendo.  They have a lot of cool systems and games.

What does it take to be a Video Game Editor/Reviewer?

It takes hard work, patience and have fun playing games.

Do you believe some Video Games are too violent and lead to violence in America today?

Yes, I don’t play those.

Do you prefer playing video games alone, against friends or online against the world and why?

Online, you can interact with different people online.

Which company makes the best games and why?

Microsoft makes the best games for the XBOX.

Who is your favorite video game character and what makes that character special?

Mario.  He has been in a lot of game I have played.

What is your favorite multiplayer game?

All the Madden Football games.   I love playing.

Are video games aimed mainly at children, adolescents or adults?

Children.

What is favorite video game of all time? 

Destiny 2.    I like the mechanics of the game.    I love fantasy shooting games like Halo and Overwatch.

If you can design your own game, what would it be about and who would be the main character?

I would be the main character and the game would be an open world game similar to Zelda, breath of wild and Destiny 2.

Where do you see Video gaming in the next 20 years?

I think it will be mostly Virtual Reality.
