NBA 2K is the king of the hardwood now, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other special roundball games out there. Take a look at these five iconic basketball games we’d love to see come back.

NBA Jam: It’s time for more than a roster update or a half-baked release. NBA Jam is still one of the greatest basketball games of all-time. With some tender love and care, it can reclaim its throne.

NBA Street: Another special arcade-styled basketball game, NBA Street captivated millions. It’s still a wonderful title that could thrive if the core gameplay was untouched and a new coat of paint and more options were added.

Tecmo NBA Basketball: The NES version may be the best basketball game of that era.

NBA In the Zone: Anyone that’s played it knows. These games were just as good as NBA Live on the PlayStation.

NBA Courtside: It’s time for Nintendo to get back into the sports genre. This was a fun one.
