In the early 80s, when video games were just starting their migration from the arcades to the living room, it was common for games programmers to take their inspiration from the more popular arcade games, and so we ended up with a million and one variations on Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Frogger. And it’s Frogger which is getting a mention today, as if you loved playing that classic game from 1981, B.Gray is developing this arcade classic over to the TI99/4A as an Extended Basic project!

The 1981 Arcade game of Frogger by Konami had loads of charm and great gameplay especially for the younger generation back in the day. To be honest it’s probably one of the only classic games I remember where you felt for the safety of those little green frogs as they hopped their way across a busy road, then across a river of logs and Crocodiles to get to the other side! So yes if you remember this classic game and have a TI99/4A, you are sure to like playing Frogger developed by B.Gray
