ddmar is definitely anything but “odd”.  It is truly a great game and super fun as well. The graphics of this game are above and beyond a typical side scrolling platform game. I typically tell people its like a early Rayman game in terms of the play ability and storytelling. Play through 24 beautifully hand-crafted levels of physics-based puzzles and platforming challenges.

Follow Oddmar on his adventure through world of Vikings. Explore vibrantly crafted Nordic lands in this action-adventure game. “Oddmar struggles with life in his village and is not worthy of a place in Valhalla. He is shunned by his fellow Vikings and must redeem himself of his squandered potential. One day he is offered an opportunity to prove himself, but at a price.”

Produced by the development team behind the award-winning and critically acclaimed Leo’s Fortune, Oddmar is a perfect game for the iiRcade as it showcases what vibrant colors and sound can do on the hardware. You can play Oddmar on consoles like the Nintendo Switch or the handheld version on your android phone, but to play this in arcade style is my favorite way to play.

As you complete stages throughout the game you can purchase weapons and shields to enhance your journey. You will meet new friends and foes through magical forests, snowy mountains and treacherous mines. To control the action you push the B button to use your weapon and the A button to jump, You’ve got other moves you can pull off as well. If you press the jump button then hit down on the joystick , then attack in midair and you’ll perform a shield bash.

I highly recommend this being on of your top 10 games to purchase when you get the iiRcade. Even if you have had it with more than 10 games, this is the game to purchase next.
