Another interesting story for you all, as we have just been told through Saberman that the all time classic platformer of ‘Prince of Persia’; a game which has been released for many different systems back in 1989 by Broderbund, may well be getting a ColecoVision and MSX port by Under4Mhz. While we don’t know if this will be a fully featured experience, Under4Mhz has made available a simple technical demo of the first level downloadable below Saberman’s gameplay video.

Here is what Under4MHz says about the tech demo. “A simple technical demo of the first level of Prince of Persis for the ColecoVision, MSX and SG-1000 consoles. These consoles never got a port of POP. The aim was to see if it was possible to implement the game for these platforms, and to see if there is any interest in it. It’s a technical demo, so slow, incomplete and with many features not implemented. No guards or sword fights”.
