Ken and Roberta Williams started Sierra in 1979. Their first game, Mystery House (1980), which Roberta designed and Ken programmed, was a black and white graphics interactive fiction game for the Apple II. From there, the company grew and began to produce hit after hit including the King’s Quest (1984) series, the Space Quest (1986) series, and the Police Quest (1987) series, as well as many other iconic game titles. Sierra was acquired by CUC Software (now part of Activision Blizzard, Inc.) in the mid-1990s and Ken and Roberta retired and began sailing around the world.

Now, twenty-five years later, and after a year and a half of hard work, Ken and Roberta, and their talented team of about thirty people at Cygnus Entertainment are at the tail end of developing their new game Colossal Cave Reimaged By Roberta Williams.
